Terrible experience

We moved in july of 2000 and there are many incidents where we feel Lionshead is not the place to live. They supposedly do not allow charcoal grills but a lot of people still have them on their balconies. They do not allow pets on balconies, but our third floor neighbor lets their kitten on the balcony all the time and it looks like it is about to jump off every time you walk by. We have talked to the office several times about this but nothing has been done about that. The last straw was when I was locked into the apt. for 2 and a half hours. I was on my way to work when the doornob broke and I could not get out. I called the office and they said they would get maitenance out. About an hour later I called again and she said she didn't realize there was an emergency and that she would have maitenance out asap. How could someone locked in their apt not be an emergency. No one came so an hour later I called again and the same girl said maitenance would be there any minute knowing that I had to be at work at 4 and it was now 6. So apparently she called an outside maintenance person and he came at about 6:15. Lionshead maintenance works until 4:30 but she had to call this guy at 6 who only lives a mile away to come help me. What if there had been a fire' I was locked into my apt for 2 and a half hours. I was 3 hours late for work. I could have been fired. I do not recommend Lionshead to anyone.
