not too shabby

I used to live at the Lionshead Apartments and my overall experience was pretty good. I have read the other reviews and while I can understand other people's frustrations, I didn't have that many. I think the best things Lionshead has going for it is its maintenance. I had to have a few things done and they were done immediately, even before I expected them to be finished. One was when my disposal was acting up, and the other was to remove the wallpaper in the bathroom and kitchen.
I was not aware that if you pay your rent late even once the management will not renew your lease. If that's the case, it's a good thing I got out when I did. I left after about 5 months; released from my lease I should say, when a new tenant was found for my unit.
Now I am living at the Joslyn Lofts, which is an experience I would LOVE to write about. Nothing like paying over $1500 per month for the "best in downtown living" only to receive shotty service and COUNTLESS problems. I've begun to think that where there is an emphasis on glitz and glamour there is little emphasis on keeping the tenant happy. :^(
