The Richdale Group does not understand anything about providing customer service or customer satisfaction. They do not accomadate individual needs or listen to reason. Word of Mouth is a powerful form of advertising, and they are screwing themselves by making so many of their tenants ANGRY! I have had other friends who lived on Richdale properties and even a friend who worked for Richdale and we all have horror stories about the company. Do not plan on getting your deposite back; they take every penny from you that they can!
I have lived in both Lion's Head and The Vanderbilt, and in both the buildings are poorly constructed; everything inside of the apartments from the flooring to the appliances falls apart. The electrical in the Vanderbilt is crap; you can't have the lights, TV or any combination of electricity on at the same time without blowing a fuse! I was constantly changing out light bulbs. The parking lot is a mess; there are too many speed bumps, and blind corners! The sound travels horribly, I could hear my downstairs neighbor's alarm clock every morning. I could write pages about all of my complaints, but I think you get the message. DO NOT LIVE IN RICHDALE PROPERTIES!!

i agree..Good place, bad management. Very bad corporate office. I stayed there three years. I hired professional cleaners and clean every thing. Their maintenance???s. man said all looks good. they want $20 on top of my $600 deposit for the carpet which it was not new when I moved in, and it did has some coloring on it to start with, and extra charge for deep panting!, oh here is funny one, $145 for deodorize the place,!!! Nothing for oven, fridge, bathroom, where is the logic? I did not have a pet by the way, and they made about $30k of me staying there 3 years??? did they expected to be in untouched shape?
I ma taking them to court.
My attorney said I can take them to court because they did not want to renew my lease because my children were running the hole, and they did not have any proof. And there are few families who have children and they still live there. I could have styed but I wanted to be the nice person. But after they kept my deposit they are going to court, and I will show the truth about them on the web

I HATE RICHDALE!!!!
NEVER ADVISE ANYONE TO MOVE TO ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES!!!!

I agree that Richdale properties are horrible...the corporate office is rude, wont return calls, wont let you speak to anyone of authority, takes weeks to approve you then call and say you arent approved...I could go on and on....dont live at biltmore or any of their properties. very bad news!!!!

They have continuallly added misc. charges without making me aware of them......then when i pay my rent they apply late fees because i haven't covered the extra charges that they haven't told me about. See a pattern?
Save yourself the headaches and hassles and STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THE RICHDALE GROUP AS POSSIBLE.
