Now I know-you are probably reading this and thinking I need to get a life & stop bashing apartments, but take heed. I hope there are people reading these BEFORE they go apt hunting. Steer clear of this place. You will get ripped off big time. I am no apartment novice, I lived in my share during college & thereafter & I know when i?m being treated like crap. This company (Richdale/Slosburg group) will keep your deposit and then claim you owe MORE on top of that. (I got charged for water damage in my apartment that I reported numerous times to the office, but was ignored) It stated in my lease that I was responsible for letting management know about problems/damages and I did but nothing was done so when I move out, I get a rude letter in the mail. We almost went to court. It was a nightmare. AND if you do decide for some reason to rent in a complex this company owns, INSIST on seeing the actual apartment YOU WILL BE LIVING IN BEFORE you sign your lease. Chances are it?s not in as good of shape as the model is. When I moved in to my apartment it was full of dead bugs and I had no toilet seat and there was a big slit in the linoleum on the kitchen floor. The people who work for this company are vicious. Do yourself a favor and don?t tangle with them. Living in an apartment should not be this hard. I just purchased my first home & that was in no way near to the big nightmare I experienced dealing with the bloodsuckers at this company.
