I don't know who these people are who have been reviewing this apartment complex, but the ones complaining all sound like idiots to me. I don't know what manager they've been dealing with, but the one I've talked to has never been anything but nice to me and has accomidated all of my requests. As far as the idiot who claimed he wasn't climbing off his 3rd floor balcony, you live in my building and I've seen you do it, so stop complaining about people yelling at you for something you "don't do." Evidently, YOU are that stupid. As far as the noise, yes people like to party, but if you close your windows, you don't even hear them, and half the time I leave my windows open and still don't hear them. I've never had my car broken into and in the 6 months I've lived here, I haven't seen anyone else's broken into either, with the exception of the girlfriend who knocked out the windows of her boyfriends car (and was promptly told by security to leave). I never hear my neighbors through the walls, floors or cieling, unless the person above me is vaccuming, and that's expected. And any time I've called maintenence or security, I've had a quick response and things have gotten fixed. I even saw them escort a man off the premisis who had a restraining order against him and he didn't even make it to the person he was there to see. And the chick who got locked out of her apartment, I had that happen to me too. Here's a newsflash for you: when the gears inside the doorknob malfunction, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS! Yes, you have to go get a key from the office for the pool, but I've never seen an apartment where you didn't. And if they didn't regulate who got keys somehow, there'd be a LOT of people using that pool, including the people from the neighborhood next door. And you don't have to RENT the key, they don't make you pay for it, they just have you sign that you have it. Holy crap, that's just freakin horrible! The person who said the manager bragged about water pressure, I've never heard a damn thing about the water pressure, and I haven't had any trouble with the water being dirty or not hot enough. The rent is reasonable. It's not the cheapest place in town, but it's a hell of a lot better than the last place I was in where I was paying almost $600/month for a 1 bedroom, and I had to pay utilities. Believe me, just the fact that they pay gas is a HUGE help. Overall, I like it here. It's convenient, the management is nice, and I've rarely had any problems with the other residents.
