I've only been here about 6 weeks but this place is so much nicer than my last place, which was smaller and more expensive. The grounds are clean and we have many large trees, making it seem more like a community than a sterile complex. I did have a few things needing attention when I moved in. They were taken care of within an hour or two of my requests. The manager (Kelly) has even called a few times just to see how things are and if my requests had been attended. I love the layout (I have a great office/sunroom). My neighbors are great and we all often congregate at night or on the weekend. BTW - the decks are about twice the size of most apartments, plenty of room for outdoor furniture, a grill, and plants.

There was one Friday that the younger people across from me were on their deck very late and being a bit loud. I simply went out and asked them to keep it down. They immediately apologized and went inside. They even stopped me the next day and apologized again!

They just put in a fitness room, with brand new equipment. Right now it is only open during clubhouse hours but they are installing a keycard system so we can use it 24/7. The pool is a bit smaller than most but there is also a hottub, and always plenty of lounge chairs. My old complex had about 8 chairs, for a larger pool, but this place has at least 2 dozen. Seems like they go out of their way to make sure we are happy and the area is kept up - so nice for a change!

My kids love it here and I feel safe letting them go out and play. I didn't feel that way at my old place, even though that was at 120th & Dodge (The Heights). The parking lot here is well-lit and there is always available parking - didn't have that at my old place either.

Suffice it to say, this is much more like a community than just a complex. I'll definitely be here a while.
