Although I was first excited about loft living in the Old Market, after the first few months my experience became a nightmare. My bathroom door was broken, it took 4 months to get it replaced-but that was the least of my problems.
As a young professional who expected to live among other residents with class, I was saddened that this beautiful building was trashed by some of its residents-and the management did little about it. Beer bottles often littered the parking lot, hallways and elevators-which were filthy a lot of the time.
My neighbors had several unauthorized guests that loitered in the hallways and were loud all hours of the day and night, when I brought this to the manangement they were rude and unhelpful.
After many hours of debating with Seldin managment I was offered a transfer;however I could not see the apartment I was moving to because that resident did not want to show it-then Ford Warehouse management showed my apartment on 2-3 hours notice (which is a violation of the law). Although I finally got out of my lease it was a horrific ordeal-I think you can do a lot better for $700 a month in Omaha. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
