Looks are deceiving!

My boyfriend and I moved into Steeplechase in December 2002. It looked like the nicest place to live and we got an awesome winter special! We could have done much better! We were on the third floor and always freezing! The drafts were awful and you were unable to prevent them. Heating bills therefore sucked. Everything was made as cheap as possible. They have unfinished paint on all of the walls so when you touch them you can not wipe off fingerprints or anything. (If you live with a guy your walls will look horrid.) If you use water on the walls it makes the mark more noticable and stains around it also. The walls are paper thin. I lived near the pool and heard people yelling and shouting at the pool at hours like 3am. I had to call the police two different times since they would not keep the noise down at my request. The security gates never worked unless it was 9am to 6pm, other than that they left them open because they did not want guests who did not have gate keys ramming open the gates. I am sorry, do we have too much testosterone living there. I am man hear me roar and let me ruin my car by ramming open the security gates! Right! They just sucked is all. There was never any parking. If you get home from work anytime after 6pm you will not get a parking spot. And the balcony seemed as though it was caving in in the center. All the rain built up there and ruined any carpet or mat placed out there. Another thing! They make it seem so nice during the day when you check them out... but at night the lights from every other building will keep you up unless you have a blindfold on. Everybody in the complex seems to have dogs too, they never clean up after them. You can look in the yard from the 3rd floor and see it clearly. I did however enjoy a couple of the women in the front office, they loved being in your business! I know I did not enjoy my time at Steeplechase, I would not recommend anyone spend the money they charge to live there.
