It's okay...

...from a few standpoints. I've been at Steeplechase just over a year now and I have signed a lease extension. Why' Well, not because I wanted to, but because I really hate moving.

After reading all the other posts on this site, I'd have to agree with a lot of things, so here we go...

1. Yes, it does look beautiful and I like the area it's in. The pool and athletic club are definitely a bonus.

2. Yes, the parking is tight during the winter months. Not terrible during the week, but weekends are bad. The money they want for a garage is way too high.

3. No, I've never really had a bad experience with the office people. I've been treated well, but then again I am paying a high price for rent. (not to mention, I do pay it on time.)

4. Yes, the walls and floors are thin! You can hear many, many things going on at all times of the day. A stereo from above or below, can be heard by all around them. It is an apartment and I do understand you'll hear a few things, but come on....it's REALLY loud at times. Conversations in the hall ways....you might as well join in the conversation. Music around you....how about some karoake' Doors opening and closing, people walking above you, cars parking outside, etc...it is definitely TOO noisy for the money they are getting!

5. Bugs....Got Raid' Yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one using more toilet paper to kill bugs than I do on myself. (as sick as that may sound!'!) Don't like them, can deal with them, but I'm not sure how SO many can keep crawling in'

6. Overall, I don't mind coming home to a somewhat nice layout, but if I had more time to "shop" around, I definitely could have found something nicer for less money.

7. If you're moving to the area, consider trying to find a home in town. I'd suggest staying West of 120th street for "niceness" or maybe even try the Bellevue area which is South. Otherwise, good luck in your new apartment "adventures."

8. You've just read an honest post from an honest tentant at Steeplchase. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
