I used to live in Torrey Pines apartments a few months ago. I have put off writing a review until i reciieved my refund.
Do not rent here. The staff changes more frequently than my underwear(no im not a dirty person). Staff is the worst part about this place. I will give you these examples why i disliked this apartment complex...
1.) If you recieve mail that wont fit in your 4 inch by 8 inch mail box and goes to the office, they will NOT tell you about it. I have had several packages sit there for over a month.
2.) If the office closes for a holiday or something else. They will put a small sign on the front of the main office. They wont notify you that they are closed but they sure will post a 100 signs that they are looking for a maintenance person.
3.) I do not blame them for this but a friends car got broke into and the stereo was stolen. This is a good part of town and I believe that was a fluke thing.
4.) Deposit...Dont take my word for it read the other posts. Do not Expect your deposit back. There was no way that they should be able to get away with that.
5.) When you plan on moving out you have to give notice on the 1st of that month. No matter if your leaving the 7th or the 31st. I gave notice the 3rd that i was moving out the 25th and would pay til the end of the month if needed. Those crooks said no and FORCED me to pay another month of rent, i even asked to be pro-rated for the 3 days, but they said they would rent our appartment out as soon as they could to get us out of the lease. They didn't give any effort at all. No calls to view it or anything.
In closing, I honestly hope you do not choose this apartment complex that is run by CIP Management.

I'm relocating to Omaha from the Northeast and have my eye on this area. It seems decent. Can you tell me if cops are ever called out to this complex and what is the average age of the residents. Also is this considered expensive in this area?
