I moved in towards the middle of november after being shown a rather nice and well kept apartment. As they mentioned during the waklthru , this wasnt the apartment i woud have but they assured me the one i was going into was a better kept than this one. That hardly the case at all.

For the first 5 days in which you fill out the "condiion of apartment " sheet, i ran out of room trying to write everything that was wrong with it. The shlving in the closet was warped FAR beyond usage, no battery in the smoke detector ( which i asked about specifically, and was promised one would be in there ....there wasn't ), the carpet "crunched" for the first month ( i dont think the cleaners sucked the any water of the carpet and just let it air dry), I highly suspect that the cleaning crew never went thruough the place. I spent the first TWO WEEKS cleaning and RE-weather stripping the entire place. there was a solid 1 INCH gap in the front door ( like someone took a crow bar to it ) and cold air/noise came thruogh VERY easily. The carpet all along the outdoor walls leaks cold air...had them strech the carpet ( which i dont see and evidence of them actually doing!) and still it leaks water/BUGS LIKE CRAZY/and cold air!

Im onyl 3 months in and starting to save up for the early termination fee...I wont live here long enough to have my place/car broken into...thats that impression i get every night. Also, dont expect clean neightbors...mine trash the hallway weekly with beer can, cig butts, and trash. If anyone talks even at a low volume outside your door ...you can hear EVERYTHING...paper thin walls! Keep in mind that this is during the new managment renovations ...1 MILLION DOLLAR RESTORATION! HA! to the old gym equipment maybe! which no on used in the first place and to the clubhouse to sucker people in, none of it went to better appliances or furniture for the aprtments! DONT BE FOOLED...i was, and regret it VERY much.

Most of what happened to this person happened to me and my girlfriend also.
