I loved the vertical blinds in all the windows, sliding shower door, huge walk in closets, dishwasher, central air, gas paid, water paid, pets allowed. The 1 bedrooms are small about 700 sq feet but the management always took care of problems right away. They even had a contract with Orkin, so anytime I saw a bug, they would send Orkin out the next day, no hassle or anything. They never complained to me, like my current manager where I live now does.
The pool is nice and they have several resident activities throughout the year like pool party with free subs and giveways, superbowl parties are SO good with great food!
The fitness center is basic but they bought new stuff and they do have an eliptical now, which is nice.
Locked mailboxes. The rent is too high now and the pet rent is way too high at 40/per pet.
Ask for a special when you move in, that's what I did and I signed a 18 month lease to lock in the low price.

They used to take Section 8 but as of July of 2007, they have let go of everyone whose lease was up for renewal at that time and in the future as their leases come up. That's what they told me.

Not everyone on Section 8 is bad. I do know 2 people on Section 8 who do not clean up regularly, but I am on Section 8 and my apartment looks like I live in a magazine all my friends & family say. It's just like everyone else in life, some people care about cleanliness, others don't-section 8 has nothing to do with it.

It really was nice when I lived there. I know I hate it when management changes....it is not always for the best. Aren't they pretty apartments...mine was anyway? Well, Good Luck to you.
