My lease will expire by the end of the year and I will be so glad. All of the bad stuff people have said on this site about this building is true!! Before you agree to sign a lease, just take a walk around the place. Take the back two stairways, look in the elevator. Take a look at the people who are coming and going. Take a look at the falling-down ceiling in the lobby. And look at the messed up paint in the lobby. You will hear the person next door's conversation the walls are so thin. It is such a dump. I hate it here. I hate the people who live here. I wish I would have never moved in. My other friends who live downtown have much nicer apartments for not much more money. If youre going to live downtown, try some other place, even if it costs a little more. you'll be much happier. Just read the "positive" comment on here that mentions "contraceptive foam." If those are the sort of people you want to live near, then this is the place to live. But if you want to live near decent, law abiding people, this ISN'T THE PLACE!
