Everyone I know that has lived here has bad things to say about this place. In fact, everyone I know that has lived at any of the Slosburg properties has horrible things to say about them.

There a few nice reviews on this website but all look suspicious to me.



At first glance the apartements look nice and the outward appearance and grounds are well kept. That?s it.



The ladies that staff the main office and the people the answer the phones after hours are snobby, pretentious and condescending.

Poor plumbing on first floor backups constantly and floods apt. Despite months of harrassing the mgmt, I had to call the fire inspector in order to get the apts fire alarm system fixed. Cars broken into constantly. Every tenant that I know has had their car broken into at least once. Maintenance crew is a bunch of morons that causes more harm than good. They improperly installed a new lock on door, attempted to fix by sliding screen door by turning it upside down, repaired the bathroom door when it was my bedroom door that was broken...etc. Apt wallpaper in hallway was torn down months ago and is still not repaired. Apt was in poor condition when I moved in.. still had tooth paste stuck to the bathroom counter, nail holes in walls, tile floor and carpeting does not meet the walls. Screwed out of pet deposit when I didnt even have pets. Washers and dryers on property have been in a state of disrepair since 2001. Hot tub has not worked since I lived here. Car wash does work. Squeeling water pipes. Bugs. You can hear through the walls and hear the neighbors having sex, pets walking above you, phone conversations etc... Secured entrance is never locked and has not worked properly since 2001.




The only nice thing about the vanderbilt is the Biltmore fitness center but they require fingerprint access, a security code and you must sign in.




I strongly advise against living here. If you doubt this review is true and are interested in the any of slosburg's properties I strongly suggest that you seek out recommendations from previous tennants.
