I recommend living in the Vanderbilt if youre a couple or single and have a roommate.
But apparently from the posted comments, living in the Vanderbilt is a mixed bag.
Overall, my roommate and I felt safe living in the Vanderbilt.
I parked my car out front and never had a problem.
I never heard the neighbors.
The rent may be a bit higher, but I suppose that elevates the standard of people living there.
The character of the complex is not a party atmosphere as most of my neighbors seemed polite and responsible.
The layout of the two bedrooms is perfect for roommates, separated from one another and with their own bathroom.
The balconies are huge a major plus for grilling out.
The fitness centers are excellent and never too crowded.
The staff has always been helpful, unlike the other posted comments that Ive read.
My big disappointed with the complex is that it took multiple phone calls and many many days for maintenance to address rather significant issues.
My expectation of living in a nicer complex is to receive more immediate service.
We did a complete a walk through at the end of our lease, and received our full deposit back.
