I lived in the Vanderbilt for over a year and they ROBBED me of my deposit plus I had to pay $300 EXTRA to replace the carpet. We almost went to court over it but we were threatened not too. The carpet was three years old and had the normal wear and tear. The people who run this place are absolutely ridiculous. All the girls in the office give dirty looks when you ask for a simple question. Not to mention the roach issue that was so abundant throughout my stay. I have never had a bug problem in 5 years of apartment living until I spotted the first roach at the Vanderbilt. I complained to the staff and they said they have have NEVER had a roach problem and that I must keep a dirty apartment. I have told everyone who has ears that you will be gravely mistaken if you rent from Richdale properties. You will be robbed and forced out by the bugs. Every single person I know who has lived here has had a complaint about the office staff, bugs, unkept property, and the deposit issue. BE AWARE. Rent somewhere else that has a nice caring staff.
