I was looking for an apartment for about 3 prior to my lease being up at my old place. I checked apartmentratings.com and was a little concerned about moving to the Vanderbilt. From day 1, the Vanderbilt could not have been any better. I have no complaints on anything, yet. I pay less here than I did at my old place and have way more extras. Yeah, there may be some problems, but don't be discouraged in the least. Give this place a shot, it's worth it.

When I moved in 2002 up until before I moved out at the end of June 2006 I thought these corn-bred hicks were "professionals" oooo-weeeee, cornhuskers, was i wrong!!!!!!! They charge me for replacing carpets/pads. There were no damages to it at all!!! I will sign affidavits to prove my honestly. If any of you consider living in any richdale group (crooks/thieves)apartments don't!!!! You might as well send your money to email scams originating from Nigeria Africa because you will probably get better deals from them.

We've had the same problems w/this place - moving out is when the "fun" begins. We brought a professional in to look at the carpet that was "unlivable" - and it was perfectly fine (all but a 2" circle that was off colored". We found out what carpet cleaning crew they used, I called them and at first the man was nice, then when I asked him if they cleaned for Vanderbilt, he stuttered, and hung up on me. We've sent numerous letters back and forth, along w/phone calls - and when I presented this information (of the carpet being usable again per this professional) I was met with a flustered lady who stuttered and said "fine! fine! just pay $xxx". It's such a rip off at the end. Yea, living in the apartments was fine. Had some neighboors that would totally disagree though - harassed by management every month, if not more (and yes they paid their rent :). They're starting to harass us again after many years. If anyone else has this problem, please repost here. God speed to anyone who lives here... |
