My boyfriend and I have lived in this apartment almost 4 months now, and we've got a month to go. At first we were captivated by the area...the trees and landscape really give off that feel of "home". Then...we moved in. Staff here is terrible. My boyfriend asked them if they could fix our garbage disposal and it took 6 days, and each day they told us they would be there "tomorrow". It's a big deal when you have a baby and need the sink to clean her bottles. To add insult to injury, just today we recieved a new fridge, after 3 months of waiting. They didnt call, and my boyfriend was pulled from doing his homework and attending class just so he could take out our food and put it in the new fridge and wait while they installed it.

Our friend was assaulted in the parking lot by one of our neighbors...and one day we found a letter addressed to the tenants to be wary due to an assault by a "dark ------- american man wearing a red hoodie". That set me over the edge...I come home late from work and picking up our baby and safety is a MAJOR issue to me not only for our sake, but also for our daughter's.

A friend of ours just recently showed us the most DISTURBING pictures of her apartment. (also at the Vanderbilt.) Waste, I mean literal CRAP, was coming out of her bath tub drain. Also,tiles had also fallen from her shower wall and on top of that there was a flood that ruined her carpet. She said it smelled like MOLD. That is so unfathamoble to me that I wouldnt want ANYONE to live under those conditions.

I wish I had heard the stories about this place before we moved...there are just SO many. Save yourself the trouble and the harrassment. Look elsewhere because this is NOT the place for you. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
