This apartment complex is the worst place to live. The management team seems nice at first but once you move in they act like you dont exist. If you need something they transfer you to the corporate office who then transfers you to someone else. No one ever answers the phone or returns the call. The apartment is nice for the most part, but a few days after you move in you'll start to notice things that they just covered up. Three of my friends that live here have a discusting smell in the closet which they have actually tried to remove from the place, but it just keeps getting worse. The windows and doors leak so much that my gas bill was $135 dollars every month this winter, and my apartment is only a 1 bedroom with a little over 500 sq ft. The screen door was broken when i moved in, and about 7 months later they decided to fix it. They didnt warn me what day there would be random people climing my balcony to take my door off and not replace it for 5 days! If youre looking for a nice apartment do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! I know of people who live in other complexes owned by Richdale and they all have similar if not worse complaints. I read these reviews before i moved in, but thought it was just a few angry tenants, but everything said is completely true. Its sad.

The Vanderbilt takes care of all of my needs and quickly replace items that need to be replaced. All in all, it is a very pleasant place to live. There are some people that live here that do not know how to care for anything or do not want to.

hmm..i wonder if thats someone from management?? lol I'm pretty sure that theres a lot of angry tenants who really care that some people dont care for anything. I'm sorry, I wasnt aware that it was my job to fix my own door, toilet, and get rid of that cat pee smell that was in the closet when I moved in. HAHA i guess I should work at the vanderbilt, you get to play stupid and act like nothings wrong, and then when someone confronts you just refer them to corporate. Man youve got it made!
