On the outside, and when you first go through a tour of the property it seems like a very well kept place that runs smoothly. It seems like an ideal place to live. The apartments are cute, especially the upgraded ones, the landscaping is gorgeous. But then once you live here, it's completely different. They don't tell you that a majority of the people living here have a million kids. So that gorgeous landscaping in your courtyard, that is full of loud, screaming children...on a regular basis. And maintenance is NOT good. I don't care what the review before mine says, they are never here when they say they will be. They don't keep in contact with you very well, if they have anything to tell you they simply leave a note at your door, no phone call...nothing.

Parking is okay. Sometimes it gets pretty full, and you have to walk a bit of a distance..but that is with any place. I will say it is well lit, and you feel safe when walking to your building.

they are really bad about telling you when people will be painting or doing work on your balcony. One morning I woke up with a man in my window doing work on it. I had no idea anyone would be around. They could have at least said, hey, there will be painters possibly near your apartment these days. They started working on our balcony without warning. We left for work with a balcony, and came home to no balcony. It just would be nice to know the people on my balcony are actually HIRED workers, not just weird creepers.

The office people I would say are nice, and they try to get things done, and somethings are beyond their control. I just think the management company could do a much better job than what they have been doing.

Although location is good, the property manager is not. This property is ridden with maintenance issues and if you call maintenance. They will come after 2-3 days and then they bill the tenant for anything that is not working in this 40 year apartment complex. The maintenance guy is rude and blames the tenant for everything. They bill you without telling you with penalty is like half the cost of new appliance (for a 10-20 yr appliance) and then threaten you with eviction, absurd penalties, court charges, attorney fees. They get away with this because they select the tenants with unblemished credit history and good jobs and who will endure this nonsense. Even if you know you are right, you have no choice but to endure the remaining part of lease. I know of 4-5 other tenants who want get away from this place as soon as there lease is up... I think either it is a problem with the property manager at Villa Vinnee or with Robert Hancock for having her. AVOID this property at all cost else you will see yourself adding to this post..
