Reasons to not move here:
Management don't care about you, they do a horrible job, and they are down-right mean! They did not clean my apartment when I moved in. They said "oops we cleaned the wrong one." They initially gave me a key to the wrong place. The carpet, or apartment in general, hadn't been cleaned probably since these buldings had been built. The whole place had this mildew smell to it. The carpet was full of stains and burn holes, light bulbs were missing, the refrigerator light flickered when you opened the door, ect. ect. ect. I had to strategically place my area rug and furniture to cover up most the stains. Now that I move out they are trying to charge me for EVERYTHING including CLEANING, which we did and they don't even do, $1 for a LIGHT BULB which was missing the day I moved in and I'm the one that replaced it to begin with! Everything wrong with this hole is your fault, no matter what. I come home one day and find a new smoke detector on my wall, a bill on my counter for $55 for a smoke detector and battery and a letter from management stated that I somehow broke it. Another day I come home I have a notice on my door stating that I have 30 days to get rid of my grill or else I get kicked out. I've NEVER owned a grill. My apartment got burglarized, while I was at work, with no sign of forced entry the SAME DAY I put in my 30 day notice to move out! Come to find out my neighbor right across the hall had the same thing happen to her a month prior with no sign of forced entry. The burglars seemed to know exactly what they were coming for because my apartment was clean besides the stolen items. Again, no sign of forced entry! According to management, it was my fault my apartment got burglarized and since my brother had a key management asked me "what he was doing that day". Yep, my own brother. This list could go on. Oh, by the way, the camcorder that I used to record the apartment the day I moved in got stolen in the burglary. I pay all my rent on time, everytime, never any complaints directed towards me, I cleaned their apartment they forgot to clean, I replaced items they didn't the day I moved in and I got $4000 worth of stuff stolen. Now they say I owe them $438 after I moved out for bull crap. Please don't move here, please! I want to warn as many as possible! Moving here was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made!

I do have a police report and the Method of entry is unknown. My next door neighbor had the same thing happen to her apartment one month prior, again with method of entry unknown. The management acted like it was my fault my own stuff got stolen. Whomever did it definately had a key and they knew exactly what they were coming for becuase my place was not trashed at all, almost as if they had been inside before. Another "shocking" coinsidence is that I put in my 30 day notice that morning before they were open, I go to work, then come home that night to a burglarized apartment. I've never experienced anything like this in any complex I've lived in my whole life. I'm actually taking them to small claims court on 05/09 at 10:30 a.m. I still need to call the BBB.

Wow! That is crazy! I am nervous that will happen to me, I wouldn't put it past them for all the other crap they have tried to pull on me. I also got a nice $55 for a smoke detector battery. You need to contact the Housing Authorities here in Omaha. They will come and look at your apartment and try to justify why you should owe them money. They've helped me alot with Wentworth.

How did your apartment get burlarized? Who paid for all the stuff stolen? If there is no sign of forced entry... I don't trust any of the staff. Did you file a police report??? All I can say is WOW. Wish we could warn future residents of the cost of living here. How did the small claims court turn out??? Keep us posted here...
