We just recently broke our lease with Wentworth (they agreed to let us out of our lease early) due to smoke-smell that was coming through the return air ducts from the neighbors. When we first complained about this (we have small children), we were informed that townhomes were just built the way they were built and there wasn't anything that could be done. Then they tried to "mask" the problem with an air-neutralizer that somehow went into the duct work and an air purifier that worked for about a 5'x5' area. After several complaints, ----- (manager) finally agreed to let us out of our lease (which was not due to expire until September). She was very rude and not wanting to cooperate! So, we had unexpected moving expenses since she basically told US we had 30 days to move. Everything at this place sucks...and you are just putting your kids in danger if you choose to live here! We are going to be turning in our keys within the next couple of days, and we'll see what becomes of our deposit...especially since my husband has spent 2-3 days over there cleaning and fixing everything. My advice to all of you home seekers...spend the extra money and rent something newer (and more credible) or rent a house!

Was this cigarette smoke or marijuana smoke??? My apartment complex just smells horribly of smoke and then there are some stoners too--more than one apartment I'm sure. I've called and complained but they would never call me back. These people sit outside of their apartment and smoke it and don't get in trouble at all. Wentworth staff could care less, as long as they get their rent check they are fine with whatever. I had to file several police reports and still nothing. I get secondhand smoke just living there--I feel lucky that I don't have kids to subject to that. I'm surprised they even let you out of your lease... They have been nothing but difficult for me. I am so excited to get out of this place too. I wonder what they will screw me with for the deposit!! I left the place cleaner than it was when I moved in, so I guess we'll see what kind of a mood ----- is in. I'm sure I will get some outrageous bill though.

As far as we know it was just cigarette smoke. Who knows what all went on next door. We dealt with loud parties until 3:00 or 4:00am, and people knocking on their door at all hours. I would have called the cops several times, but didn't want to cause trouble with the neighbors...they actually seemed like nice people. We didn't really have any trouble with bad neighbors...just lots of noise. There really isn't much privacy when it comes to the noise factor in the townhomes. We could hear almost everything that went on next door. When we first moved in, we could actually hear the neighbors on the other side using the bathroom! Nice, huh? My husband turned in the keys today, and we were told that the minimum charge for repainting is $290...so don't expect any of your deposit back no matter how great you think the place looks now.

where i lived in wentworth im 99.9% sure that there are more than 1 drug aprt. there. not that i know first hand jsut that i know the ppl going in and out and what they did and provided.
