This is the most horrible place you can chose to live. If you have children dont even considerate it. It is very unsafe, security is a joke. They harass the tenants more than they protect. They are very dirty and dont pick up around the area (except for 1 building, the one where they take the pics for advertisments) They accept everyone and anyone because they know they are gonna charge you for everything they can while you live there and when you move out. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. The few acceptable staff members seem to quit as soon as they get true environment of the place. If you move in here beware....take detailed pics of place before and after you move. Note everything in journal that goes wrong with times, dates, detailed notes and who you spoke to. We need to get the word out there to other people that might get suckered into living here. IMO this place mainly likes to rent to minorities and the younger ppl that might not have a good credit score or insuff. rental record and they look for every chance to charge them for outrageous things that they shouldnt be; they know that those ppl will have to pay becuase they cant do anything else. So beware! becuase for me personally becuase of this place my credit score is ruined even more. I tired so hard to bring it up and now its in the toliet and there is nothing that the average paycheck to paycheck person can do.

Yes, I definitely agree with everything you have said! They do prey on people that believe will not stand up against them or either in a situation where they have no other choice but to pay their stupid fees and charges. This place is ridiculous and the staff is even worse. I have noticed a rapid change of employees there and it does seem like the half-decent people quit when they realize the environment they work in. I've heard a lot not only on this website but talking to other tenants about the different ways they have tried to screw people over. I think after enough complaints there should be some sort of gov interference... I agree that you need to take detailed pictures of everything when you move in... but more than that, you need to submit those to the Wentworth jerks because they will say you staged it or it wasn't taken when you moved in. I know, sounds crazy but these people are seriously like that. They won't believe a word you say. My advice to you guys that have been suckered like the rest of us into living there, just make sure you don't let them screw you over and when in doubt contact the Omaha Housing Authority.

I definately agree with this and would like to add something about documenting everything. Hold on to all of your pictures and documentations!! My boyfriend and I lived there back in 2003 and we did document everything. Shortly after we moved out they sent us a bill for damages that was outrageous. My boyfriend took in everything we had on them and the management at that time said they would drop all of the charges and that we didn't owe anything. Then, 2 months ago we were checking our credit reports to try to refinance our school loans and found that they had just submitted what we owed to a credit company. We have been working so hard to improve our credit and now we have these ourtrageous charges again. And now, we don't have the documentation anymore, since it's been 4 years!!! Don't consider yourself safe if they don't come after you right away, they will eventually! And if you're thinking of moving in here...DON'T!!!!!

yeah thats exactly what happened to me. billed me for $1100!!!! to change carpet that had bleach stains when i moved in on a 1 bedroom apt. Even though i noted it when i moved in. But they saw it as one big bleach stain and not multiple small ones. I bitched at ----- and she was like oh ok, was that the case it was there let me fix it then. 3 months later i get a bill from collection ppl. ------- trying to build credit and they mess it up like its nothing and now i cant even get another 1 bed apt because of it.
