I've lived here for almost 2 years, in a townhome. The first year sucked. If something broke, they'd find the cheapest way to fix it. Their pipes are very old and always leak or clog. And they blame you for it. Last winter our neighbor's toilet leaked and they didn't call to have it fixed. For a month. So for a month I was trying to figure out why water was always on my kitchen counter. Then I noticed the ceiling sagging and I called asking to have a look at it. They got here a few days later to "fix it"- went over to the neighbors and fixed THEIR toilet. I called 3 times after that about the sag in my ceiling. They kept saying they'd be over to fix it but never did. The blindes are cheap and always break. Of course, they want you to pay for their cheap crap. Drug dealers live here. A townhome about 4 doors down from me was broken into and people lived in there for a week and no one knew until the girl called the cops because her boyfriend had a gun against her head- threatening to shoot her. Kids live here- including my son! The basements leak. Nothing has been remodeled unless you have a fire. They're quick to get their money and have no heart if you lost your job. Just want their money. We have spiders here too- Brown Recluse. A neighbor was bit in the butt and the poison from the spider ate a hole in her muscle and she had to go to the hospital and get treatment for a while. She ended up moving. We're moving very soon too. We've told them about the spiders- nothing has been done. We get neighbors who drink and drive- crash into their garage or other cars. Neighbors have had their car broken into 3 times! Now they have to park in their garage and are also in the process of moving. Security sucks. There's a lot of ghetto people here. Lots of different drugs. People with guns. People let their 3, 4 and 5 year olds run around with no one watching, then call the cops because they can't find their kid! Lazy parenting, poor ghetto people- this has been HELL. This is not how I want to raise my son. I would of moved sooner but my husband spent half the year last year in the hospital. Now that his health is better- we're leaving. Do not move here. Pay an extra $50 and have something so much better than this dump!!
Parking sucks. You get one parking spot- where the townhomes are- and one in your garage. Everyone and their mom parks in other peoples spots. Sometimes I honk my horn until someone moves their car out of my spot. Sad thing is they repeat it. The noise is horrible. You can hear the neighbors clear as day. The walls are very thin. My son wakes up a lot at night because of the noise. For how much they get a month for rent you'd think they'd do something about everything but they don't. The ground is not great- the grass is brown, the parking lots have holes and bumps and everyone speeds. No one cares. This place makes you feel like you shouldn't care because of how crappy it is. Safety is terrible! I'm white- I'd feel better living in North O than here!
Our car was towed. We didn't have $500 for plates- so they put an orange sticker on it. I was keeping it in the garage waiting for payday so I could get plates. I parked my car in my parking spot long enough to get my son, who was sleeping, out of the car and then I heard them towing it. As if they were hidding in the damn bushes!! Guess how much it is to get it out' $240 for the first 24 hours. Guess where the two truck company is' Carter Lake. Stupid if you ask me! Then I called about it- that's when they told me I could of called to let them know I'll be getting plates within two weeks. I asked them why they didn't tell me sooner- they said it was on the orange sticker. Bull ----!!
My neighbors are fighting them in court. My neighbors girlfriend stopped by to pick him up, and she had her dog with her. The dog got out of the car and ran lose in the parking lot. He was caught and brought back to her, but a week later my neighbor was charged $200 saying maintenance saw the dog come out of the townhome. The dog was never in the townhome. They're trying to get $200 for a pet fine.
I could go on and on, but I think I made my point. Don't move in here

I'm not at ALL surprised to read any of the crap that I do on this site about Wentworth...or WentworthLESS! It was the biggest waste of money moving into that place and I'm SO surprised they don't find themselves in the middle of more lawsuits!

They do get taken to court alot. When I filed my court case against them the lady who was filing it heard of them because of how many cases are filed and said something about them having alot of cases against them. If you unfortunately live there currently and are moving out make sure you clean as good as possible and take pictures. They are so lame and charge you for whatever they think they can but usually they do not document well what they are charging you for so you can prove them wrong with the pictures. Taking them to court is only like 30 dollars and it can save you tons of money. Funny thing is that they have all of those BBB awards. Complain to them too.
