Let me tell you about our experience with Huntington Park. Moving in was easy... That was probably our only good experience with them. The prices are outrageous for the very small space that you get. The walls are thin and you can hear dogs running and you know exactly what your neighbors are doing. They are not the cleanest apartments I've seen. The office staff is constantly changing and you never know who you're going to find up there. But that's not the worst of it. Moving out was. You see, we bought a house and notified the apartment we were moving out and breaking our lease. We agreed to pay the ridiculous fee and be on our way. After numerous attempts we never got a walk-thru scheduled. Move out day came and we left, turned over the keys, once more inquired about a walk-thru and were told "dont worry about it". We thought all was said and done. About two weeks later we get a bill in the mail for about 700 dollars. They said it was for new carpeting. Since we left the carpet in good condition I thought it was fishy and called the manager. I was told there was a mistake on the bill, they had charged us for carpet cleaning and since they replaced the carpet they didn't need to clean it. Well to me, I would think that you would try to clean it first, apparently not. So then I asked because we didn't get a walk-thru who had been in the apartment after us. Apparently maintenance and various cleaning crews. I then asked for a list of all of the charges and how they broke down. I also asked to come by to see the carpet to verify that it needed to be replaced. That's when they became defensive. The manager had told us that they had already replaced it and hadn't taken any pictures so they couldn't show us the damage but to go ahead and just pay up anyways. Finally after threatening to take them to court, they dropped the ridiculous fees. Something just seemed fishy to us and I will NEVER EVER recommend this apartment to anyone. If you're smart go somewhere else. By the way, our deposit for our pets didn't go towards any of the supposed carpet damages, turns out it doesn't go towards anything related to the pets. Be wary of that as well.

Yes moving in was nice now I cannot wait to get out. The apartment are very small for the price you pay. They had a big fire in the building I live in. They upped the rent on the apartmnets that had fire damage due to new appliences and cupboards. But keep in mind insurance replaced all that stuff, They should not upped the rent. The pool is clean but 3 feet deep. My dryer vent is clogged and cannot dry clothes. Still not fixed. They say the pipe is new it should not be clogged. Well I can see the lint on top of the roof if you stand on my balcony. The windows suck for keepin clod out. Oh and they freeze shut, So if you had a fire near your door your dead. Very unhappy here.
