Great place to live

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
My husband and I have lived here for a little over a year, and we have very few complaints. We live on the third floor of one of the newer apartments (they were a year old when we moved in).
The only time we ever hear our neighbors is if they are nailing something into the wall, and we even lived next door to a couple with a baby. The carpet is very good quality for an apartment, the fireplace is great and the decks are made out of comoposite wood (no splinters and no care). Utilities are very low (about $60/month).
As other reviewers have said, maitenance can be slow. However, we have only had one problem (broken garbage disposal) in over a year. It probably took a week and a half to get someone up here to fix it. There is no 24 hr. maintenance.
Also, cable t.v. is not an option. All residents have to use DirecTV (dishes are already on the buildings). I would personally like the option to subscribe to cable, but I don't mind satellite.
Over all, I am very satisfied with our apartment. I have not found any other buildings in the Omaha area that compare for the price/sq. footage.
