We moved into Tara Heights while looking for a house to buy. The manager told us there would be no penalty on early termination of the lease if tenants buy a house. We should have gotten it in writing instead of taking her on her word. We did find a house and told the manager we were leaving at the end of the month. She denied everything she told us when she was "selling" the apartment. We ended up paying an extra two months of rent while the apartment remained vacant.
The apartments smelled horrible and you could hear the tenants through the walls, floor, and ceiling. The manager never gave notice when "maintenance" was to take place. We came home one day to a 90 degree apartment. We had a couple of chocolate bars on the counter that were liquified, to give you an idea how hot it was in there. The maintenance man that came into our apt. without notice left the thermostat turned all the way up. We called the manager and were basically told, "so what". Of course we paid the electricity for the furnace blower to run all day and into the night.
Do not rent from these people. You will regret it.
