I lived in a top-floor one-bedroom unit for one year, and am staying for another. The walls and carpet were clean upon move-in.
The unit's appliances and fixtures are fairly old but were always in working order. Hot water comes quickly, especially for the bathroom. Maintenance is always good about replacing the furnace filters when the seasons change. However, low energy efficiency means high energy bills in summer and winter.
Any unit provides a lot of space for the money; I also had tall bay windows, and views out in three directions.
There's generous closet space: a coat closet, a wide hall/linen closet, and two wide bedroom closets. All too many other complexes really skimp on closet space, but not here.
The deck/patio, at least for one-bedrooms, is double-size, and also includes a full roof for all top floor units.
There's excellent convenience for grocery shopping; one can walk, bike, or drive to either a supermarket to the north or a Super Target to the south. The city post office is just across the street. On the other side of the complex is a golf course, a nice neighborhood, and a park with a paved walk/bike path.

The building decor is brick villa; a nice-looking complex, much better than the typical apartment style. The parking lots are not totally level and smooth, but thankfully they're free of stupid speed bumps. Some of the parking lots are also built on hills, which means that cars parked there will tilt to one side. The garages are minimal; they lack openers and shelves, and must be reserved during lease signing. Deteriorating areas of outdoor concrete were well-repaired during my stay.

The main bug pests are spiders & silverfish. The crime threat is minimal, as is noise from neighbors. Management is indeed professional and easy to work with.
