I have lived at Hampshire Green for one year. I did a lot of homework looking for a place to live and this was the best deal I found. Also, if you are new to the area as I was, I found that Bedford is a nice mailing address to have.

I used this site to help select an apartment, so I feel compelled to post here and help others that are new to the area.

The gym, sauna, steam bath, hot tub, and indoor pool at the clubhouse are great and are well-maintained. The carport and storage areas are good quality. Lots of drawers, cabinets, and counter space in the units. Good quality ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and bath. Washers and dryers are good quality and have worked for me fine. Oven, dryer, and heat are gas.

Also the grounds are well-maintained and much effort is put into landscaping.

It's a semi-rural area. Mobil gas is one mile north. Grocery shopping three miles north in Bedford or three miles south in Merrimack.

The people living here are friendly as are the office staff. I have not had any problems with the office staff, but I have not asked them for a lot either.

I looked at Heritage on the Merrimack and the girl working that day (it was a Saturday in December 2003) was absolutley rude, had poor salesmanship, and treated me like I was not worth her time. I was completely turned off to that place. I also visited Kensington Village, which was nice, but it was out of my price range and did not have the amenities that Hampshire Green has.

I highly recommend Hampshire Green apartments.
