Nice place however, the management is shoddy

This is a nice appartment complex over looking the Merrimack river. It is Clean, maintained well with pool and tennis courts. However, There is a sewage plant directly across the river which makes the area smell. In addition, the management is misleading and in my opinion shoddy.
When I moved out, ?Heritage on the Merrimack? informed me during the inspection, that the apartment was in good condition. However, after moving out I received a bill for among other things $1200 for a rug replacement. When inquiring about the bill, the management told me ?the entire carpet was extremely stained?. The carpet was immaculate when I left. It was covered with a throw rug for the entire rental period and I had the remainder of the carpet professionally cleaned upon vacating. In addition, I know of other tenants who have had similar experiences upon vacating the complex.
So, if you plan to rent here, be prepared to go to court when you move out. Take pictures of the premises with a current news paper prior to moving in and upon vacating.
