I've lived here for the past year, and really it's been a pleasant experience. I am moving at the end of this month because I want to be closer to downtown Manchester, but I have had no problems since moving to Heritage on the Merrimack. The staff is very friendly, maintenance is responsive, and the grounds are kept well maintained. I live on the third floor of one of the units, and my heating bill was almost nothing all winter long. The only complaint I think I have is that the airport is quite close, so you can hear planes all the time. I guess I'm used to them at this point, but whenever I've had friends over they've mentioned it.

Yes, the airport is close, but I don't understand people say they can hear the airplanes flying over from the airport all the time. Very rarely I hear the planes go over and we also live on the thried floor. We are NOT on the major pathway for the airplanes. You can see them high in the sky occasionally, but they are too high to be heard. Maybe once every two weeks or so you'll hear a lower flying plane but it is during the day usually. It certainly does NOT sound like we live on the runway at the airport. I wish people would stop saying they hear planes ALL THE TIME, when it really is very quiet here for being so close to an airport.

I love Heritage on the Merrimack. It's a great place. I agree with the review though. I hear planes constantly especially when their engines kick in to take off.
