The rental staff is friendly, but often makes promises they don't keep. They claim to have each tenants best interest in mind, but do minimal to ensure quality of living.
Noise can be a problem (poor insulation) humidity, mold and poor ventillation are annual problems, that never seem to be dealt with. The increase always seems to be at least 50 dollars per year, with no explanation and no recourse. The driveway is always plowed, sanded, shoveled etc, however they are very incosiderate as to the time the maintainace staff chooses to perform OTHER construction details, often with no notice to residents (ie: roof-reconstruction w/ no notice).
I would reccommend looking in the area first before signing a lease, as this complex can be pricey for the actual quality you get, however, it is nice than some others in the area.

The rental staff will say anything to get you to sign the lease. After you sign, they turn into Mr. Hyde. If you have a lot of extra money to flush down the toilet, Alton Woods is probably as good a toilet as any!
