I am a fairly new resident to Alton Woods. Like the previous comments, kudos to Melanie and Roberta. (Yes, they are that nice!) My only complaint is the thin insulation between the apartments. I can easily hear my neighbor's TV and normal conversations (especially male voices.) This can get annoying. (Pray that you get quiet neighbors!) The apartments are pricey, considering this problem. Other than that, I love the complex. The grounds are kept clean, maintenance is very efficient, and there's always plenty of parking. And yes, the apartment itself IS beautiful. It has a very modern, residential feel. The best looking apartment I've every lived in. One other thing, I wish the property owners (Hodges) would "lobby" for a traffic light coming in and out of the complex. It can get very dangerous if you're waiting to make a left turn out of the complex, not to mention you'll have to wait about 10-15 mintues on a Saturday! Other than that, yes, it's a great place.
