Enough writing nasty replies to all the AW folks' postive comments. Not sure what you're personal problem is, but it's your problem and you need to move on and see if you can find a nicer place.
My partner previously lived at AW for 5 years, and I with him for 6 months, and only once did he have a noise complaint in that 5 years. That was because the family above him was moving and the parents went out of state to their new home for the weekend and their teen decided to have a party. One call to the police department took care of the problem. It was not management's fault. Simply an error in the parent's judgement trusting a teenager alone for the weekend.
We have since owned 2 homes and pets have come into our lives. We've now decided that home ownership is not for us for the long term and as soon as the market improves we'll be selling our home and AW is at the top of our list for rentals in Concord.
For those complaining about your annual rent increase, try paying property taxes on a home. That NEVER goes down. Try annual home Maintenance costs that are over and above your mortgage. Then there's spending your free time mowing lawns and raking leaves or shoveling snow. Even in a Condo you'll pay ever-increasing maintenance fees. All in all, everyone has a choice in where they live. We're HIGHLY considering AW. If others aren't happy there......then MOVE !! NO ONE is forcing you to stay and if you're attitude is as half as annoying as your comments, no one will miss you !!!
