The apartments are decent, but not as nice as they should be for only being 2 years old. The halls are disgustingly dirty (crayon and dirt all over the walls). They also SMELL really bad. There are doors enclosing each floor and so cigarette and other disgusting smells are trapped in the musty halls, you have to hold your breath. Also the walls aren't too soundproof. DO NOT get an apartment near an outside light!!! The light fills the entire room with light all night long and there is a terrible buzzing sound! Also TERRIBLE paint job is done, they use a watered down flat paint so anytime you touch a wall it turns grey. My apartment was FILTHY when I moved in, make sure they clean it before you move in (including carpets). Also the painters smoked and they did not air out the apt. so the thing reeked. I had to air out an entire day before I could move in. Make sure if you don't like cigareete smoke you check the room because smoking IS allowed. There are 3 washers/dryers on the bottom level of the apt. The doors into the building require a key then there is a door at the top of each flight of stairs (a pain for moving and bringing in groceries). Choose a room NOT facing the parking lot, because you can hear people yelling all the time. I would also highly recommend the 3rd floor so you don't have to hear walking above you. Also choose a room on the BRICK side, not the siding side, because you can hear the siding creaking and parts of it are loose and when the wind blows it makes a TON of noise. As long as you can avoid these issues above, they are liveable.
