my mother stayed there, and she did not like it. I don't think I would've either, because she saw teenagers walking into the apartments, smoking, and drinking. Someone stole her dining table that she had asked the staff to get up to her apartment's room, but they didn't, and it was gone the next day. When she was sleeping, the floor was moving, and she was thinking it was the teenagers, since they lived underneath and above her.

But now we live in Alton Woods!

It is unfortunate that residents occasionally choose to be less than fair or honorable when detailing their anonymous comments. Our records on this matter are in contrast with the comments provided. Our file indicates that the resident arranged to have their table delivered to their apartment in a private arrangement with a third party unknown to us. The resident elected to have their table left in the common area of the building for reasons unknown to us. We do not know many days they elected to leave their table in the public area. We do not know why they did not make private arrangements to have their table moved from the public area to a location within their apartment during this time. The election to leave personal property unsecured in a common area a period of days and nights was solely in the control of the resident. Eventually the resident called the office (after business staff hours) and left a message requesting a ??free favor??,,, indicating that they had been unsuccessful in making their own private arrangements to move the table and requesting that Salisbury Green Apts. provide the necessary manpower from our property maintenance staff to move their personal property. The maintenance dept arranged to provide employees for this free courtesy assistance the next work day and at that point the table was gone. Regarding the other issues noted by comment, we did not receive any formal complaints from this resident. Thereafter the management facilitated the request of this resident to move to Alton Woods by allowing early termination of tenancy. We hope this response is a helpful clarification. We are very proud of our property, facilities, and staff here at Salisbury Green Apts. Salisbury Green has been owned and managed by the same company since it was first built.
