Well, I do agree with SOME of the the other reviews, Parking is rough at a few of the buildings so before you sign a lease, you may want to go there around 8pm - 9pm and see for yourself what your going to be up against.
I lived in #19 which was horrible if you came home after everyone else did.
Most times I had to park 200 feet or more away from the building.
The apartments are nice, keep in mind its an apartment, not a royle suite somewhere in Beverly Hills.
Yes, you can hear a phone ring next door, and maybe thier alarm clocks, but I've done a LOT of research and found this to be the best place for the money, around this location.
The staff at the clubhouse has been REALLY nice, I've always felt welcomed.
I never had any problems with the office, but then again, I paid my rent, and stayed out of trouble.
We did sign for another year, but in a different building.
They were very friendly, and Carla was honest about which buildings had the best parking.
Maintance...
The plowing is getting better, they shovel the walk ways right thru every storm, and as far as fixing stuff goes, once a request was made, they were quick to fix.
Light bulbs in halls could be replaced quicker, but again if a request isn't made, i guess no one will know to change them.
Laundry isn't bad, 3 washers and 4 dryers per building, sometimes you may have to wait for a dryer, or you may go down there a 1/2 hour after your clothes were done, and find them in your basket or on the counter, that just goes with community living.
There are a few people who mess up the halls, but you have them everywhere.
Its not the Fairway's fault our goverment pays thier rent under Section 8 or whatever it is.
The pool / hot tub is nice, the pool table is a little steap $5 to play.
They have Pizza Night once a month where you can buy a Pappa Ginos pizza for $6 which is nice.
If you have kids, they have a LOT of activities for them, swimming lessons, movies, little partys and dances.
OVER ALL if your looking for a place thats "perfect" you'll have to wait 'till you get to heaven, in the mean time The Fairways is not a bad place to live as far as apartments go.
If you like a QUITE place, you may want to look in to buying your own home, because there is no quite apartment buildings.
