No reason to not renew for another year

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
Some of these reviews have baffled me, but then, perception is key to everything.
My wife and I rent the largest of the available apartments, and though the price is a bit expensive at $1100, I find the apartment to be pretty good.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, both in very nice condition. It can get hot, being on the third floor, but the AC chills the greater portion of the apartment.
The dishwasher is fantastic, and the washer and dryer are small, but then, that's better than having to lug laundry down flights of stairs.
I've heard the snapping the walls from the pipes, but the one and only time this will happen is when pouring boiling water from cooking into pipes that are cold. Not much you can do about that.
The one time we needed maintenance on the garbage disposal was a Friday night, and we were told no one would come until likely Monday morning. We were pleasantly surprised when the maintenance man showed up half an hour later and pulled that nasty penny from the engine in about 10 minutes.
The walls aren't exactly thick, but in a year I can count the number of times I've heard anything through the walls. Once I was playing music too loudly with my sub right next to the wall, to which my neighbor very kindly asked me to turn down, and only because he was watching a movie.
The second time was my neighbors being... amorous, and I was forgiving, because I think it was their anniversary. I've never heard anything else, including televisions in other rooms of my own apartment.
The grounds are always kept tidy, the walkways are always clean after a snowfall, though the parking lot could use a bit more work. And some people need to learn that fire lanes are not parking spaces.
The tenants have all been very kind and generally friendly, though I have seen some Section 8'ers around. They're not troublesome. There was a small incident with a young boy's tennis ball having an argument with my bedroom window, but nothing major.
I haven't yet enjoyed the pool, but the workout room is pretty nice. And now with the addition of a DVD rental machine, with new releases only being $2, the clubhouse and its staff are both very accomodating.
I suppose that some buildings can be worse than others, but mine has been pretty damned good.
