My family lived at Franklin Village for almost 6 years. We dealt with teenage punks outside doing drugs, fighting and yelling at all hours of the night. Drunk adults sitting on the stairs into the wee hours of the morning. The trash and filth are another story. I was afraid to let my son outside to play due to the glass, drug paraphenalie etc on the property. The manager who took over for Peabody Properties is the most unprofessional, cruel, uncaring women I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I was appalled at the amount of behind the back whispering and private information she shared with employees and tenants alike. The police are there atleast one a day for all manner of things, drugs, violence or just to do a drive thru 'cause it's always a good place for them to meet the quota. Toxic mold was allowed to infest apartments and put adults and children in danger. Lack of heat and hot water in the middle of winter wasn't surprising either. I can't believe that this complex has not been condemned as of yet.
