I agree 100% with the review posted on 2/27/06. I currently live at Fairfield Gardens and cannot wait until my lease is up and I can move. My new, and much improved apartment is already lined up and moving day can't come fast enough. Although I haven't had problems with Kelly, I have had multiple problems with neighbors. They're loud, rude and to be honest, downright disgusting. If you want to live in low income housing with low-lifes, then by all means, this is the perfect home, but if you have higher standards, as do I, find a different complex. I had no idea that this was what I was getting myself into when I signed my lease. The building I live in always smells like marijuana and I have noticed that there are tenants in other buildings who stand outside their buildings and shoot a bow. This may not seem like a big deal, but the fact is that they shoot the bow across the walkway to the entrance of the building. Sounds safe, huh' As far as I know, nothing has ever been said about this. On a positive note, maintenance is fast when there is a problem, but I'm not sure that things are fixed in a manner that is up to code. Heating costs are outrageous due to the windows. The windows are not tight and the lose a lot of heat. In my 2 bedroom apartment, my electric bill is $120 in the winter and the only heat I keep on is the heat in my bedroom. The children who live here run around in the parking lot with no concern for people who are driving. I almost hit a kid who rode his bike out of the woods right in front of my car without even thinking twice before darting across the road. One last major problem is security. The doors to the buildings have no locks, so anybody can walk right in and come bang on your door. I hate being home alone at night. Before moving, I tried contacting the Dover Police Department to find out if they had problems at the complex and they told me that they couldn't release that information to me. I should have thought twice at that point. Anyways, if you are reading this, please think long and hard before making the decision to live here. I know that the rent is cheap, but this is a situation where you truly get what you pay for and as far as I'm concerned $750 is too much for what you end up getting. If they payed you to live here it still probably wouldn't be worth it. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

Say what you would like. My new apartment is one of the better ones in the area and the buildings are in impecable condition. No bugs in the halls, no obnoxious neighbors, and best of all, no cigarette smoke/butts everywhere. Moved out in May and you couldn't pay me to come back. And yes, Fairfield Gardens is low income, which is obvious since I'd say that over half of the tenants do not work and don't say that's because they don't have to, because one look at the parking lot dictates otherwise. Half of the cars in the lots weren't made in the last 10 years. I could make minimum wage and still pay my rent with money to spare so lets not talk about what I can and can't afford. If I wanted to live in the projects, why would I have moved? I like not having to wake up now to three state troopers and a local officer in the parking lot searching the buildings and cars for someone. Makes you feel safe doesn't it? One last thing that reinforces the low income/project aspect of Fairfield Gardens: a college education, oh wait, a high school education would have taught you that the word is "prob-ab-ly", not prolly and when you write, you should use punctuation.

Once again, no punctuation. Some college education. Where did you go to college? Sounds like a Macintosh kind of education to me.
