We have lived in Granite Village since July of 2003. We rent a deluxe two-bedroom. For the rent we pay, $930 a month, we are getting a good deal. The rent increases have been minimal. We started at $850 per month and that was five years ago. The property manager, Jennifer, runs a tight ship and she really cares about the property and tenants. Ken and Russell are quick at solving maintenance problems. Have seen nice improvements: new windows, newly painted doors and walls, landscaping, new bathtubs, new washers and dryers. After having rented apartments in New York City and Philadelphia, our apartment here is the nicest we have had so far. Very safe for children. Nice, quiet neighbors that don't bother you. The location is excellent. Nearby shopping (Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot, Shaw's, Hannaford,) for all you need and 20 minutes north of Portsmouth and beaches. The complex is completely surrounded by trees. Private driveway. Parking is widely available. We will probably stay here until we buy a house.
