Small, a little pricey, but quiet & peaceful

Lived here for a little over a year now. Small apt, rent is a little high, but it's quiet and peaceful, with the exception of a noisy neighbor that I've butted heads with a couple times. A couple loud children, but they're not that bad, plus it's summer time, what do you expect? Lots of ants, but that can be corrected with some ant traps. I've got 3 or 4 ant traps around the apt, and I've had no more problems w/ the ants.

Management is OK, but the woman at the front office needs to pick up her phone more often or return phone calls a little more quickly. Takes a day or two to actually get a hold of her sometimes. Maintenance is OK as well. The head maintanance guy has a little bit of an attitude.

Sometimes not enough parking, then we get yelled at for parking in front of our apt. I say: "Provide ample parking, and I won't park here." Not my fault. Parking lot could have more lighting. I think assigned parking spots would be the ideal answer to this problem.

Sucks that I am not allowed to have a small dog, even when the apt complex 1000 yds away (White Cliffs) is allowed dogs of all sizes!! Kinda unfair when you see those tenants walking their dogs over here in West Gate, yet we are not allowed even small dogs. I brought that up to the front office, asking if I could have just a bulldog, but they are under new management and do not allow any dogs. NOT FAIR!!!!

I sleep during the day and go to school at night, so when the landscaping people run 3 or 4 large and very LOUD lawn mowers at 9am once a week or two, it wakes me up and is a big bother.

Walls are a little thin, so if you are doing or saying something you don't want your neighbors to hear about, then keep it at a normal voice level and they shouldn't hear a thing.
