Not the nicest around, but not awful

The White Cliffs has its faults.
The hallways are in pretty sorry shape, the appliances are vintage, and since a lot of the tenants tend to be college kids, it can get loud sometimes (my upstairs neighbors need to invest in a new boxspring - I can hear it squeaking while they're "in the act").
However, the price is low, the office staff is generally helpful and understanding, and if something breaks or backs up maintenance is there almost instantly.
The old appliances work even if they're not exactly pretty to look at it, and in the winter the building is pretty well insulated so you almost never need to run your heat; I actually had my windows wide open during a blizzard because it was TOO hot.
If you have kids, there's plenty of yard space for them to play on.
Proximity to the Spaulding is convenient; you can be in Portsmouth in under 15 minutes.
I don't think I want to live here the rest of my life, but it's okay for now.
