A few reasons Beaver Dam isn't so bad

I'll give my fellow reviewers this: Jim is a shithead.
I've lived with Beaver Dam for a while, though, and I have to say that I think my fellow reviewers are being a little unfair. First of all, maintenance would be a whole lot easier and quicker if my neighbors would stop kicking in doors, breaking windows, peeing in hallways and leaving garbage around the building. Tenants flush handtowels down the toilet and then wonder why their toilet is overflowing. I've heard stories where maintenance had to fix the same thing two or three times in a row because the tenants keep breaking it. I have a hard time faulting the management for the things the tenants (supposedly adults, but I have my doubts) do.
Secondly, my fellow reviewers seem to have forgotten a few things. Yes, a door might be $20 at Home Depot, but someone has to hang it. Forgive me if I don't have a lot of confidence in one of the tenants hanging the doors. My neighbor once decided that it would be a good idea to remove his attic door with a CROWBAR.
All in all, I think that Beaver Dam does an okay job. They've got a lot of buildings to maintain and they do a decent job. The important problems do get fixed in a timely fashion, and while they do charge an arm and a leg to fix certain problems, it's understandable. If they paid to fix everything my neighbors have broken, they'd be out of buisiness in a year. And for those who say that inspections are unannounced -- I remember reading the dates my apartment would be inspected in my lease. I read everything I sign. But that's just me.
