Wonderful Place to Live

I lived here for a year back in the mid-90s and would be living there still if my job hadn?t transfered me out of state. It was one of the nicest apartments I have ever lived in.
I was in the newer building right across from the library. Mine was a standard type of apartment layout but the apts in the main mill buildings have very interesting floor plans and a lot of historical character. Mine had lots of windows and light, good sized rooms, and I loved having a W/D in the unit. And most important to me - it was VERY quiet. Underground parking was a blessing in the winter. Nice work-out room. The staff was courteous and professional. I didn?t have to call for any repairs while I was there.
Be aware that there is no extra storage so if you need a place to store those snow tires, boxes, etc. you will have to rent a storage unit in town like I did.
You are within walking distance to Exeter shops and the park along the river. One negative is that the traffic in Exeter can get hairy on weekday AM and PMs so it can take a lot of patience to get out onto the main street.
I really miss living there and would certainly recommend it to anyone. The only other drawback is that it is SO nice that there is a long waiting list to move in. I had to wait 2 months before my apt was ready and I hear the list is even longer now. But it is well worth it.
