Awesome Apartments

Years at this apartment: 1991-01-01 - 1994-01-01
I had the unique opportunity to live in two different floorplans.
The first apartment I lived in was in the main building, 3rd floor on the northwest corner of the building (I think it was #1305).
Approx 1300 sq.ft with 20' ceilings.
All wide pine restored hardwood floors, 14' tall windows with dual shades, washer/dryer included in master bath, large closets, wooden beamed celings, and white/back checkerboard tile kitchen.
After 8 months, moved to the Powerhouse building unit 8-E.
Only 5 apartments in this building, but was right on the river overlooking the falls - much better value - southfacing - nice and sunny.
Only high celings in living room.
Carpeted, except bathrooms and kitchen.
Laundry in bathroom.
Nice security - tied to your phone and closed circuit tv at entrance.
Would have preferred first floor unit due to patio.
Third floor unit had step down living room.
Apartment manager lived in unit next door with loft.
Unable to purchase apartments due to historical code.
Very close to downtown Exeter.
Quiet during winter - can hear river freeze and cracking.
Parking below main building.
Heat included - supplied by boiler room still operational from mill days.
Too bad no exposed brick - painted white in my unit where the old stack used to be.
All other walls white.
Beige/gray carpet.
