This community is excellent! You get to know your neighbors on a first name basis. I know several, both young and old. The property staff and maintenance know who you are when you call or go to the office without having to give your apartment number, and always have fresh baked cookies in the office when you visit. They are prompt with repairs and have a 24/7 line. You can have packages delivered to the office, just remember they close early for Christmas (don't order last minute online gifts!). My studio apartment is approximately 450 square feet but feels like a one bedroom. I have plenty of counter space, a full sized stove and brand new refrigerator and dishwasher, and the bathroom is relatively spacious for a budget unit.

There are family oriented community events throughout the year, a small gym with a few treadmills and weight machines, a function room for rent and a small library. The neighbors are respectful in terms of doing laundry (right next door) by the laundry room guidelines (hours are 6:00am - 10:30pm) and as long as you are polite you can ask people to keep the noise down and they will. Because the walls are on the thinner side, heavier footsteps may become annoying (I use earplugs when needed and I'm fine) or when something drops on the floor or bangs against the wall, but I have never heard people's voices or loud music ever.

The grounds and buildings are clean and free of bugs. Snow removal in the winter is effective, but you may have to shovel a little behind your car (this is NH after all). It is policy that everyone move their car to the visitor lot the morning after the storm for plowing, resulting in safe walking for everyone through the main parking lot. In the summer, the outdoor heated pool is extravagantly relaxing. The pool area clean and is lavished in beautiful flowers and shrubs, very few insects, and is surrounded by very comfortable lawn chairs, a fence, and a large grass lot beyond that. I feel like I'm in my own backyard! Late in the afternoon the younger children start coming to the pool, but they are very respectful and don't splash a lot and are, for the most part, entertaining with the funny things they do.
