Our home is very well cared for, and any minor repairs and requests are tended to immediately.
The beautifully landscaped grounds, the gym, the pool, the clubhouse and offices are meticulously maintained. I have not had time to use the tennis courts, but my kids enjoy the play area.
We have found the staff to be extremely helpful, courteous and attentive to our needs. They are appreciative and friendly to good tenants and people in different phases of life.
My family has had big changes in recent years, and this has been a great new place to call home for all of us.

Actually - I don't work for them. I live here and it is a great place.

JXOS, if you don't work for them (which it is pretty obvious that you do) then you have not lived at highwood long enough or have low standards. Wait till snow comes and they tow your car or when you decide to move out and for no reason they keep your security deposit. Post a comment when you have truly had the "full" experience of highwood.

Do you by any chance live in a non-typical apartment building? I hear they have some for bigger families...and that they are taken care of because more rent is paid. Otherwise perhaps you spend time with the staff? From what I have seen they are much more attentive if you do!

To "Anonymous" - I've lived at Highwood for many years, and have never, ever had issues with my car being towed. They have pretty clear policies regarding snow removal and when cars will be towed. In the event that snow removal would be outside of set policies (due to a less severe storm, etc.), they post notices on the entry doors indicating when plowing, etc., will be done.
In the times that I have seen tow trucks on the property, it is usually during the late morning hours. I have seen the maintenance staff take information from cars that have not been moved for plowing, and then attempt to not only ring door buzzers, but also call tenants to ask them to move their vehicles.
In this respect, I think that they go out of their way to try to get cars moved before towing.
And no, I don't work for them.
