I was a resident of Park Place apartments from 2000 to 2002. The place is poorly managed and complaints are usually dismissed without a fair hearing. The landlord is an angry woman who retaliates when you bring her a complaint. Parking is alright but visitors will sometimes take your parking space when your away. The landscaping is horrendous and the grass looks like crabgrass. The apartments are spacious enough but the hallways look like the entry way to a hospital, cold and very unwelcoming. All in all, the rents are way too high for this shabby apartment complex. I would advise: stay away!

I am a current resident of Park Place and have been since 2000. The complex is NOT poorly managed, and the landlord and staff have never been anything but polite and courteous - even when bringing complaints (which I can count on one hand in over 7 years). What issues I've had with my apartment have been dealt with within hours, not days, one even within the hour. I suspect Anonymous (that says a lot right there) is one of the entitlement generation (I'm in my thirties) who aggressively demanded something be taken care of RIGHT NOW and WHY OH WHY WAS IT WRONG IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! "visitors will sometimes take your parking space when your (sic) away" - BS. Residents have one assigned carport space. Other parking is open - there are no assigned spaces. Also, the staff are very meticulous in clearing the snow from the parking areas - irrespective of time of day or day of week. The landscaping is not horrendous - the staff work very hard to keep the grounds neat and clean. I will concede the point about the grass, but it's not for lack of trying. "the hallways look like the entry way to a hospital, cold and very unwelcoming" - did Anonymous actually live in the same complex as me? How dare Anonymous, this is NOT a shabby apartment complex. I see the cleaning staff (actually cleaning) EVERY DAY. Yes, the rents are relatively high, but not as high as other complexes in the area who charge a lot more for less. This is a nice, well run, well maintained complex - part of the reason I've been here as long as I have. It's also quiet, I sometimes wonder if I actually HAVE people in the same building. Ignore Anonymous.
