My name's Brian and I just recently moved out of Lakeshore Estates only because I wanted to split the rent with a friend of mine who lives in Northfield. I have mostly good things to say about Lakeshore, but let me say right now that I get along with a wide variety of people, I pay my rent on time, and I am not easily offended.

I love the landlords/ladies here. Sue and Donna can be stern, but both have good senses of humor, and will treat you with respect if you offer them the same. An example of the kind of people they are: once, the parking lot was being cleaned off after winter, and the pool was locked, and I came to their office dressed in a bathing suit, towel, and sandals. Donna and Sue took pity on me and opened up the pool despite the ongoing maintenance. Did I mention they have a well-maintained pool'

And speaking of maintenance, the grounds crew is great. People who are hard working and focused, and are also residents! They keep everything clean, in working order, and in the spring they even plant flowers! Flowers! The apartment itself was well-maintained upon my first day in. Carpets are shampooed, holes in walls are patched, windows are clean. The windows are pretty drafty, as well as unnaturally wide, but both are things I could live with. The bathroom had new fixtures in it, which was a Godsend.

Anyway, please take my word for it, this place is a great place to live. If you want to meet people and make friends here quickly, hold the door open and strike up a conversation. You never know who you might meet.

Tell Sue and Donna that Brian sent you. I doubt you'll receive a discount but, hell, worth a shot!
